Meet Crystal Storms

Before starting my journey with Surface Pattern Design, I was a watercolor artist creating stationery products like cards and art prints. I wanted to take the Immersion course because I wanted something more from my art — things like location and financial freedom. I worried about the cost, but I felt it was worth the investment. I loved how learning surface pattern design began with gathering inspiration, going outside, and exploring.

I’m now confident in my ability to create repeat patterns and design in collections. I’m completing my fifth collection and pitching my work to brands. I look forward to landing my first licensing deal… and then the second and the third… you get the idea!
