Meet Darci Schipnewski

After taking one of Bonnie's free courses, I decided to take the plunge into Immersion 2024, and I have never regretted it. It is hard to describe how beneficial it is knowing how to navigate design with the tools I learned during Immersion, from drawing to printing the final design for publishing.  Being able to scale designs with ease!! 

I also learned how to be more assertive through the course.  I am a very shy, introverted person and have always had a hard time "selling" myself. It is just NOT in my nature.  I have learned some skills that I have used when pitching ideas to a company. I appreciate that! 

My biggest accomplishment following Immersion was writing a block-of-the-month program for a fabric company.  It is awesome to have clear diagrams, templates, colored diagrams that were easy for me to navigate and print after learning Adobe Illustrator! As for the horizon, I still hope to have my own fabric design in the near future! Take the course, learn the program. You will never regret it!
