I’ve always dreamed of creating a life and career rooted in creativity, beauty, and purpose. When I discovered Bonnie and her gentle yet powerful teaching style, something inside me said “this is the way.” The Immersion Course felt like the perfect bridge between my artistic passion and the practical knowledge I needed to turn it into a heart-led business. I loved the idea of building a creative life with intention that would allow me to design patterns, tell stories through art, and connect with others who share the same dream.
What I loved most about Immersion was the sense of belonging within such a kind, creative, and generous community. Through this journey, I’ve gained financial security, time freedom, a side hustle, and the feeling of being proud of mastering this skill. I’m even about to close my full-time job. My biggest “aha” moment was realizing that building a successful creative business isn’t about rushing but instead planting seeds with intention and nurturing them with consistency and heart. Bonnie’s words, “small steps taken consistently create big change,” shifted my mindset and helped me see that every small action is part of a much bigger journey.
If I could go back to the beginning, I would say: “Trust yourself, your dreams are not too big, and your timing is just right.” You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. Take that first step, because everything you’re hoping for will start unfolding once you do. You’ll find a community that feels like home, a teacher who believes in you, and the tools to turn your creativity into something beautifully real.
To anyone considering Immersion, I would say that if your heart is whispering “maybe,” that’s already a “yes.” Immersion gives you clarity, direction, and the courage to believe that your creativity can become your career. You don’t have to be ready; you just have to be willing to show up, because this community will meet you where you are with kindness and purpose.
Before Immersion, I was balancing my creative passion with a structured administrative job, spending every spare moment drawing, dreaming, and trying to bring my cozy, story-filled world to life. When I discovered Bonnie and the course, something clicked. I wanted to bridge the gap between creativity and purpose and make my art a meaningful path forward. I hesitated at first, but taking the leap changed everything. I gained the technical skills to create patterns and collections and the mindset to believe my dreams were possible.
The best part was the community and Bonnie’s clear, empowering teaching. I especially cherish learning how to build a full pattern collection, from concept and storytelling to mockups and presentation. It gave me the confidence to share my work professionally and start building my portfolio. Since completing Immersion, I’ve created multiple pattern collections, opened my Spoonflower shops, and started licensing my designs with local businesses. Each new step feels like a dream coming true, and I’m excited to continue building a cozy, art-filled creative life.
