Meet Jennifer Hart

beginner united states

Before starting Immersion I was closet creative, afraid to share my work. I loved the idea of using creativity as a means to gain the ‘3 freedoms’ of location, finances and time, but I lacked the confidence to allow myself to believe I’d ever make anything that would be considered ‘art’. Immersion seemed like too much of an investment to just see what happens next but at the same time it was too intriguing to pass up another year. When I decided to leave my job of 11 years and try to work from home, Immersion was open for enrollment and I finally went for it.

The design skills I learned gave me the confidence to dig deeper into finding my own style. With each new lesson I let go of a little of that self doubt and imposter syndrome. While I am not currently making any money from my designs (that IS the goal) I find so much joy in giving gifts with my designs on them. Currently I am working on MAKING more time to work on my art (as I AM working full time outside of the house again) so that some day I have a style and collection(s) I am ready to pitch and license.
