Meet Jerri Lisk
ABSOLUTELY DO IT! It will stretch your creative learning and ignite any skills that you have as a creative.
Before I began my journey into Surface Pattern Design, I was already deeply rooted in my life as a fine artist, creating landscape paintings in acrylic on aluminum. My work has always been about color, movement, and emotion, but I have always imagined those same artistic expressions living beyond the canvas. I wanted to see my art come to life on wallpaper and fabric, to transform everyday spaces with my designs.
When I first heard about the Immersion Course, I was intrigued but hesitant. The investment of both time and money made me pause, and I worried that I might not be able to keep up with the pace of learning Adobe Illustrator. Still, something inside told me that it was time to take a leap—to expand what I thought was possible for my creative career.
Taking Immersion truly changed the way I approach my art. Beyond learning the technical skills to create surface patterns, the course brought a new level of organization and structure to my creative practice. It gave me a foundation for turning my fine art into something that could exist in the design world.
