Meet Kristen Green

I’ve worked in healthcare since 2016. The pandemic left me feeling depleted and burnt out, so I desperately wanted to find something that would rejuvenate me and fill my cup again.

I started making art in 2021 for the first time in over a decade. I was looking online at classes and that's when I discovered Immersion. I had never heard of surface pattern design before and I was amazed at the possibilities that were out there. The idea of having a creative outlet (and one that could potentially be profitable!) really spoke to me. I learned so much through the course, namely, navigating the Adobe Illustrator program, which I had never opened before in my life. I’m still navigating growing my creative side hustle, but I’m also embracing the gift that it has been to see the possibilities for my artwork and feel a sense of accomplishment that I have taken the first baby steps in my journey.
