Meet Laura Hernández

I ran into Bonnie's Skillshare classes in 2016, I was working in the apparel business (the manufacturing side) and wanted to shift to a more creative side of my fashion career. 

I took all Bonnie's Courses and I wanted to continue learning from her. In 2018 she launched the Immersion Course and I knew it was the perfect time for me to learn more about Adobe Illustrator and the business side of SPD.

After taking the course I felt confident and secure to start pitching brands to send my designs for considerations. In the course I learned how to develop my collections and start building my portfolio. 

The best part of the course how supportive was Bonnie's team and also to be part of a wonderful community. I have always felt the SPD community is so open and friendly. 

The best skill I have from the Immersion course is how easy I can work in Adobe Illustrator. I used to be afraid of the program and I loved Bonnie's teaching method. She made me see how easy and friendly to use the program is. 

This 4 years have not been easy, but After taking the course I have been able to work with different companies and license my designs. Is a dream come true to see my designs in real products.
