Meet Lori Mardis

Before I found Bonnie and her Immersion course, I was at a point in my life where I was severely feeling the lack of not creating. I was putting everyone and everything as higher priority than myself. Bonnie opened up the world of surface pattern design through one of her free workshops and it was amazing and exciting. When I finally took the leap, I was not disappointed. Taking the Immersion course gave me a solid foundation in Illustrator, a great understanding of the industry, and a more extensive knowledge of business principles. I also found supportive people to share the journey with.

Taking Immersion a second time, Bonnie continued to give me grounding mindsets and encouragement that spoke to and calmed my inner fears and doubts. While I feel like my progress is slow while I still have kids at home, I am creating again and loving the journey. I have rediscovered the joy of being an artist and the power of small steps and having a dream to chase.
