Meet Marni

I was a stay at home mom looking for a creative outlet before starting my Surface Pattern Design journey. I always thought there was a market for beautiful Jewish art and patterns on products and wanted to make it come alive, but didn't know how. I found Bonnie through Skillshare, but just couldn't do it on my own. Immersion was the step by step process I needed to get me going towards my dream. I was not making any money on my art, but decided to take the leap and haven't looked back. I learned how to make patterns and have confidence in my ability to use Illustrator. I am obsessed with any minute I get to learn from Bonnie, whether through a podcast, new class, or revisiting Immersion -  which I do often when I am stuck. I love the way she presents the process and the expert knowledge and creativity this program oozes with. I have licensed patterns with companies like Little Sleepies and JIGGY, currently head designer of a new pajama company Shiloh and Kate Baby, successful Etsy Shop, Society6/Deny Designs artist, designed T-Shirts for The Muny 2024 summer season, several Jewish Holiday Coloring books on Amazon, and have started to sell wholesale. I want to continue to license and one day see my work in one of my favorite places... Anthropologie.
