Meet Melissa Tullis
Before Immersion, I was working as a Graphic Designer for a company that was sucking the life out of me, following specific client requests, which led to zero creativity and mandatory overtime. I came across one of Bonnie's online surface design classes. I was immediately hooked and purchased the class to keep indefinitely. Time passed, and I became a stay-at-home Mom to two wonderful boys. While raising my boys, I kept dabbling in art but not really getting anywhere. That is when I learned Bonnie had created Immersion, and after finally feeling financially ready, I took the course and have been applying her teachings ever since. Bonnie's pleasant way of teaching and breaking everything down into easy-to-follow modules
The price of Immersion may be intimidating, but having taken college courses, you will learn 10x the amount of information that you would in one semester at college. The community alone makes you feel so welcome if you are an artist who works alone most days.
A win for me this year is when I learned one of my Spoonflower wallpaper designs was chosen by interior designer Charlotte Moss for a bathroom in the Southern Living Magazine Idea House set in the Virginia countryside. So cool!
