My Immersion journey began when my in-laws graciously thought of me and blessed me with the choice to take the course. Prior to them sharing Bonnie Christine with me, I had never heard much of the SPD industry. I made the personal decision to treat this as a college course for my next career. I pivoted as best I could with the life plans I already had made before knowing I would be doing such a thing. I spent any extra time plugging away at it. I am a mom with two young kids, 2 dogs, a horse, a husband and work casually as a licensed practical nurse in two places. I decided to jump at the opportunity because it sounded like I had very little to lose and much to gain if I tried. The "what if's kept coming back to me, "what if" this was the thing to set me on the path I need to be on, "what if" this was everything I could imagine.

After taking Immersion, I felt my soul on fire. I cherish the skill of Adobe Illustrator, and the mindset talks throughout the course. Since the course, I have registered a business, started my email list/newsletters, created and provided digital coloring books for kids, commissions for paintings, logos, art prints and cards, and I continue to design patterns.

I am so thankful. In a matter of months, I learned a brand new program and told the world I am serious about my art. One goal at a time, but with the patience to master and refine. Forever no regrets, and so much gratitude.
