Meet Ryann Scrafford

education fabric full-time creative immersion course 2019 licensing united states

Before I started my surface pattern design career I was working in retail, specifically in ecommerce, where I quickly went from buying to marketing, to director of operations and also QUICKLY found myself in roles that had nothing creative about them anymore!

I taught myself SPD, I didn't even know that was a thing, and started my own product based business. It became successful enough for me to leave my job but I felt like a bit of a fraud because I didn't know all the technical ways or "right ways' of doing things. So when I spoke with factories I always felt very insecure about my artwork and files.

I missed the first Immersion in 2018 by a month, and I 100% tried to beg Bonnie to let me in, haha, but I was first on the list for 2019! I knew I needed it and I was not wrong!

Bonnie is an amazing teacher and teaches every step and tool you need to know to hit the ground running when you leave Immersion. I licensed my first collection that I made in Immersion just 2 months after I was done and have sense licensed 11 fabric collection with 2 more on the way!

If you are on the fence about Immersion I would tell you this is THE PLACE to go to learn Illustrator and the foundation of surface pattern design. You will leave feeling like you can confidently move through illustrator, create collections, and speak the language of surface pattern design. T

his course gives you an incredible foundation to build your business on, it is worth every penny! I have wonderful fabric manufactures that I work with and feel so incredibly blessed that this is my full time job! This year I have multiple new collections coming out and I also have a bunch of new collaborations in the pipeline that are really exciting!

Oh yea, and I launched my Accountability Group Coaching, which has exceeded my wildest expectations, thanks to Mentorship with Bonnie, but that's a story for another day!
