It was more divine intervention than luck that I stumbled upon Bonnie Christine on Instagram, and at first, I was hesitant to invest in the Immersion course, but given the value I received during her Pattern Week workshop, I decided to go for it. In a nutshell, Surface Pattern Design is the thing I never knew I always wanted to do. And that realization is entirely a result of taking Immersion. I cannot describe the absolute glee I felt the first time I created a repeating pattern! Looking back, it wasn't very good, and I'm certain that at some point in the future I'll think the same of the work I'm producing now, but I absolutely love the process!! The creative possibilities are endless. I feel like I'm only beginning to scratch the surface of what I'm capable of doing. I'm far from developing a signature style, but the Immersion course has equipped me with all the tools I need to get me there one day very soon. I'm currently refining a collection and developing some art prints based on the motifs, but whatever the outcome, whether I get licensed or sell my work on POD sites, the change that the Immersion course has made in my life is better measured in the confidence I feel in myself and the enthusiasm that fills me when I wake up in the morning. I never dreamed I'd say it out loud, certainly not louder than a whisper, but I am an artist. Loud and proud. Eek!

Go for it! Without hesitation! The Immersion Course really is everything you need to get started in surface pattern design. Not only is Bonnie Christine unbelievably talented, but her approach to teaching her craft is so warm and relatable that you can't help but feel inspired. Regardless of your starting point, there's definitely something for you in this course.
