Meet Jennie Whitaker

What inspired you to take Immersion: I was looking for a way to start a creative business as a stay-at-home mom.

Biggest 'aha' moment: I don't have to be a fine artist to be successful in pattern design. This always held me back, but now I know that any marks can be turned into beautiful patterns!

Before Immersion, I was a stay-at-home mom for many years. Prior to that, I had a career in Interior Design. When I found the course in 2020, I was ready to pursue a creative career again, but I needed flexibility to spend time with my family. Thankfully, I was ready to sign up on launch day and couldn't wait to get started! Since Immersion, I have licensed my work on fabric and home goods, and I've launched my own line of wallpapers.
