Bonnie was such an inspiration to me that I had to take Immersion not once, but twice! Her enthusiasm for surface pattern design was contagious and her teaching style made the course so enriching. Bonnie is a calm and positive teacher with a remarkable knowledge of the industry and techniques in Adobe Illustrator. Going through the course a second time only deepened my understanding of surface pattern design, particularly Bonnie's guidance on creating pattern design collections. 

Without hesitation, I began drawing patterns daily during my lunch break, after work, and even on weekends! Now, my creative juices are flowing like never before - it's truly an extremely enriching experience for me. Adobe Illustrator used to seem daunting, like a big challenge for surface pattern design. But thankfully I’ve learnt a few slick shortcuts from Bonnie, which have helped me breeze through the program and my workflow has improved immensely. Now Adobe Illustrator is one of those programs I look forward to opening each day!

Accomplishing a major website update and having my logo trademarked felt great, but seeing my designs get licensed for the Spring/Summer 2022 Women’s Fashion collection was the highlight of last year. Now I'm back to designing even more fashion pieces for the 2023 line, and I can already envision my designs printed on dresses and worn on models.
